Downloading
To
participate in the video version of the course you must first
download the free RealSystem 8.0 Basic player and install it.
This process generally takes no more than 10 minutes.
If
you do not want to install the video player, you can always
take the "text" version of the course, or switch
to it, by selecting the "text" option when you "Re-enter
the Course."
Many
students find the text version of the course to be slightly
faster than the video, and certainly less "conspicuous".
Please
note, older versions of RealPlayer G2 are incompatible with
the course. If you are using G2, please make sure it is a
new version.

The
RealPlayer works best with the latest release of Apple's
Sound Manager software. QuickTime
2.5 comes with the latest Sound Manager release. If
you have a version of Sound Manager older than v.3.2, Real
recommends that you download and install QuickTime
2.5 before installing the RealPlayer.
