Network Connections

If you find yourself being kicked out of the course mysteriously, or the course is performing slowly, most likely there is a connection error.

If you are being kicked out, the first thing to do is make sure that "call waiting" is turned off on your modem line.

If you are on AOL, they will periodically ask you if you are "still there" and if you fail to respond promptly, they will boot you out of the system.

If you are trying to take the video course from behind a firewall (from work, for instance), the Real video player offers a number of ways to get through Firewalls, including an elegant automated option. Please see their help file on Firewalls.
